Back to School pack solution delivering lower costs, greater range and better packaging.

In 2007 Shoalhaven High School alerted OfficeMax® to the problems they experienced with school starter packs purchased from local newsagents.

OfficeMax^® Account Manager Christopher Wright took this opportunity to not only tender for the school pack business with a stronger range and lower cost offering but also with a solution to a perennial storage problem. The newsagent packs were too large for the Shoalhaven High School to store so the OfficeMax^® Back to School pack contents were sent to a disability services centre to be put together and compactly shrink wrapped. 

Dominic College, Tasmania

A simple school supplies purchasing option for parents.

Dominic College has been an OfficeMax^® customer since 1987. Janelle Keygan from OfficeMax^® approached them to offer a consolidated purchasing solution for the parents who were individually purchasing school supplies from various retailers. Initial hesitancy due to the lack of a traditional retail type environment was overcome by OfficeMax^® facilitating a transitional period of fully managed on site sell days.

The supported program that we now run significantly reduces the time that parents spend on their school supplies purchasing at no extra cost.
